Tough custom built caravan for going bush and its got the lot! in ASHBY, New South Wales for sale

Here is a gutsy little bush adventurer that's got the lot!. Why put up with flapping canvas with a camping trailer when for probably less money you can have a full caravan. You'll have almost no set-up time and a dream van to tow. Its just 6 foot wide - the same as your dual cab. And only 7 foot high. The GVM is only 1200 kg - you don't even know its on the back. Built super strong and super light. Heavy galvanised frame with an all aluminium superstructure. the walls have 25 mm of thermal foam insulation and there is 75-mm in the pop top roof. Heavy axle and leaf springs. The wheels are steel with tubeless steel belted light truck tires. The van was purposely built for a couple of fossickers.
Inside we have two generous single beds. They hinge up with tons of storage underneath. We keep our bedding and clothes under the beds. Note the LED reading lights above the beds. There is a domed bedside light between the beds and a larger overhead light on the ceiling (right beside the kitchen approved smoke detector) There is a 240 volt and a 12 volt outlet right between the beds. In fact there are PowerPoints everywhere; 3 x 12-volt and 11 x 240-volt inside and outside the van.
The kitchen is quite incredible for the size of the van. A swag of storage space; a generous pantry; Plenty of bench space; a two burner gas stove with grill; the 3 way fridge is by Electrolux (they make the best); the air conditioner is an LG Gold; the microwave is a Sharp Carousel. Furthermore there is all the crockery, cooking utensils, a toaster, jug, and a 2000watt fan/heater. Under the seat, at the foot of the nearside bed is a Thetford Porta-potty. All widows open wide; they are screened and have both curtains and pull-down blinds for privacy. The van itself is 12-foot long inside. Note with the pop-top down there is still 5 ft. 6ins of clearance - so it is easy to stop for a cuppa and a sandwich on the run.
Out side there is an enormous storage area at the front. Note the heavy quality stainless door handles with locks. (and the van has the best drop down adjustable legs and pop-top clamps). In here is the enclosed battery box with a new (April 2016) 110 amp hour deep cycle battery). The wiring is all accessible with a large marine master switch. Both the air-conditioning unit and the back of the 3-way fridge are accessible from this locker. All the gear we use with the van is stored here and what is detailed is included in the sale. Best quality lay-flat roll-up water hose and grey water hose; Two adjustable heavy duty steel stands; the portable shower tent; the gas water shower unit and its gas bottle; two plastic wheel jocks and one wheel ramp. Naturally this locker has its own lighting.
There is lighting everywhere inside and outside this van - and it is all LED. There are 23 lights outside, 9 inside and an 18 LED strip over the kitchen bench. Note LED's on the right side & the electrics locker with the built in battery charger. Here we plug in the shower pump and put up the shower tent.
Outside there is a second kitchen in the form of the slide out galley. It includes a two burner bar-b-q with plate and griddle. It is also an oven with thermometer (we have cooked a number of great roasts in it). There is a generous sink with pressure water and a storage area for food. (We actually prefer to cook outside). All the gas appliances have stainless gas ball valves for safety.
The awning is the top quality Dometic rollout. It is 10 foot long. There is also a new side wall and an end wall to double the living area. And there is a rubberised heavy duty floor sheet.
This great little caravan is in first rate condition. It has just been painted in polyurethane marine enamel. If you are into visiting National Parks and other tight to access bush retreats then this may be the ideal off-roader for you. Come and have a look - you wont be disappointed.
